Do you pack everything, or can I pack some of it myself?⌄
Either works, and most customers land in the middle. Full packs, single-room packs and kitchen-and-closets-only packs are all normal bookings. Tell us which rooms you want handled and the quote follows that.
Do you supply boxes and packing materials?⌄
If we are packing for you, the boxes, paper, tape and wrap come with us. If you are packing yourself, ask when you book and we will bring the boxes and materials out to the job, priced on the call so there is no surprise line on the invoice.
When do you pack, the day before or the same day?⌄
Most full packs happen the day before so the load can start first thing. Smaller packs often run the same morning ahead of the crew filling the truck. We will tell you which one your job needs while we quote it.
Can you pack fragile things like glassware and artwork?⌄
Yes, fragile packing is routine work: glassware, mirrors, artwork, televisions and lamps get wrapped and boxed rather than blanket-wrapped and hoped for. Flag anything with real sentimental or replacement value when you book so it is handled first and loaded last.
Do you take furniture apart and put it back together?⌄
Yes, and it is included rather than quoted as an extra. Beds, wardrobes, desks and flat-pack pieces come apart when that is what makes them fit, and go back up at the other end. Reviewers mention it constantly because they expected a charge.
Do you unpack as well?⌄
